This policy covers the website at inquisitivemindscounseling.com, run by Inquisitive Minds Counseling, PLLC. It doesn't cover your therapy records, which are handled separately and explained below.
What This Site Doesn't Do
This site doesn't use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, or social media pixels. Fonts and scripts are served from this site itself, so simply visiting a page doesn't send your information to anyone else.
Information You Choose to Send
The contact form and the group interest form ask for your name and email address, and optionally a phone number, the reason you're reaching out, and a message. I use that only to reply to you. I don't sell it, share it, or add you to a mailing list.
The forms are processed by the site's host, Netlify, and delivered to my email. If you'd like a message you sent deleted, ask and I'll delete it.
Please keep health details out of the forms and email. They aren't built for sensitive information. Tell me what you're looking for in a sentence or two, and we can talk through the rest privately.
Scheduling an Appointment
The Schedule Appointment buttons open my client portal, which is run by SimplePractice on its own secure site. Anything you enter there is handled under SimplePractice's privacy practices, not this policy.
Your Therapy Records
What we discuss in sessions, and any records of it, are confidential and protected under the professional and legal standards that apply to therapists in Colorado. Before your first session you'll receive full details about confidentiality and its limits.
Hosting Logs
Like any website host, Netlify keeps short-term technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. I don't use these logs to identify visitors.
Links to Other Sites
This site links to a few others, including the client portal and the 988 Colorado Mental Health Line. Their own privacy policies apply once you're there.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect information from them through it.
Not for Emergencies
Website messages aren't monitored around the clock. If you're in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change with it.
